The Torch of Reason Project: How To Pledge on Kickstarter

Greetings and welcome to the Torch of Reason Kickstarter Campaign! Here is a step by step process on how to pledge to the project. In order to pledge, you need to access the Kickstarter site. If you already have a Kickstarter account, you are ready to go. If not, here are the steps to accomplish that goal. We have created a four-tiered system of rewards, depending on the amount pledged. These Tiers correspond to four levels of support: $25.00, $100.00, $250.00 and $500.00. However, one is not limited to those four levels, as they are geared towards the "Rewards," and there is a NO REWARDS/CUSTOM AMOUNT option as well.

The initial link (after clicking the KICKSTARTER banner above) will take you to the TOR page. The area to the left is the TOR Project video, viewable by clicking on the center arrow. To intiate the pledge process, click the green BACK THIS PROJECT button on the right.



This will take you to the Rewards page. At the top, is a link to PLEDGE WITHOUT REWARD option, followed by the Reward Tiers below, starting with Tier 1, followed by Tier 2, Tier 3 and Tier 4.



Clicking on the PLEDGE WITHOUT REWARD changes that area to allow for entering in a specific amount. After a specified amount is entered, click CONTINUE to continue to the login screen.



If you want to choose a rewarded amount, click within the frame of one of the four Tiers. This adds a green PLEDGE button at the bottom like the above example. Additionally, there is an area to the left that will allow for entering in an additional amount. Click the PLEDGE button to continue to the login screen.

At the login page, (right) click the appropriate button. If you have a Kickstarter account, fill in that information in the top two boxes. To setup a Kickstarter account, click the link at the bottom labeled NEW TO KICKSTARTER? SIGN UP. Or if you have an Apple account click the SIGN IN WITH APPLE button. Or click the CONTINUE WITH FACEBOOK button, (in red). After clicking on your choice, depending on your previous Kickstarter status, you will be directed to provide a payment option (credit card).
